Who are we:
The Big Gifts is an authentic family business that was founded in 2019. Three generations come together within our company. The mother (Simone) and her two daughters (Julia & Lisa) jointly share ownership. Each of us has our own tasks, which allows us to form a close-knit dream team. We design, conceive, and craft all our products ourselves.
Introduce:
- Lisa is responsible for all administrative tasks and also manages the website.
- Julia is our stylist. She comes up with the prints, designs a lot herself and also takes care of the atmospheric photos.
- Simone also performs administrative tasks and writes texts for the website and products.
How our company started:
Lisa has had her own store for years in gift items, baby products and home decoration. She noticed that gift options for men were few and customers were looking for affordable gifts. Customers wanted to give nice gift packages and were looking for gifts that they could combine with each other. With all these insights, we started brainstorming about products, which is how our wholesale business was born. We have also implemented other aspects in our company that we previously encountered as a retailer. For example, we have ensured better purchase values, so that retailers can benefit from favorable purchase prices. We also value products with a gift price, so that they are accessible to a wide audience.
What makes us unique:
- All our products are made up and designed by ourselves, making them truly original.
- We work together with various social workshops such as Ipse de Bruggen. We also offer people with a distance to the labor market a workplace in our building.
- Our products are sustainable. Our wine bottles are made from recycled glass ♻️ and all our cardboard gift boxes are made from recycled cardboard 📦.
- We think it’s important that gifts are also affordable. That’s why almost all our products have a retail price below 10 euros.
- In addition, we always strive for good purchasing conditions for you as retailers. We do not have a large minimum order amount and our products are available per 4/6 pieces.
